Clubster explained step by step.

1. Getting started

Download Clubster from the store and create an account. You can start with your email and complete your profile later (photo, name, favourite genres). Enable location so we can show you events in your area and city.

On the start screen you see the event feed. Use the city dropdown to switch between cities – perfect if you commute or are travelling.

2. Finding & filtering events

The event feed shows current and upcoming parties, club nights and festivals. Use tags to find the right vibe faster:

• Genres: techno, house, hip hop, R&B, mixed music, live and more.
• Vibes: rooftop, open air, bar night, queer, afterhour etc.
• Specials: guest list, early bird, students, 2for1 and more.

Tap an event to see details: timetable (if available), door times, dress code, age restrictions and more.

3. Saving & sharing events

If you’re interested in an event, save it. Saved events land in your personal list, so you don’t lose them even if you decide later.

Use the share button to send events directly to friends – in Clubster or any messenger. Everyone in your crew sees the same info and link.

4. Friends, crews & polls

Add your friends in Clubster to see which events they saved. You’ll immediately see overlaps and which nights your group is hyped about.

Start a poll for important nights: which club, what time, pre-drinks yes or no? Everyone can react without the need for multiple chats.

5. Following venues

If you love a venue, mark it as favourite. New events and important announcements will be easier to spot for you.

You can save multiple venues as favourites – perfect if your taste changes with your mood.

6. Push notifications & Firebase

Clubster uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) by Google to send push notifications reliably to your smartphone. This is the same infrastructure many large apps use in the background.

You can decide in your OS settings and later directly in Clubster which notification types you want to receive, for example:

• Reminders for events saved for today
• News from your favourite venues
• Important changes (e.g. venue change or cancellation)

7. For venues: events & radius

As a venue owner you can create and edit events in Clubster. For specific time frames you can book a radius boost – e.g. 25 km around your venue when users open the app.

Notifications are also powered by Firebase FCM. You select which audience should receive a message – for example all users who saved your venue and are within the defined radius.

8. Support & feedback

Clubster is a living product. We add new features, remove things that don’t work and experiment with fresh ideas. Your feedback is incredibly valuable:

• Report bugs or issues
• Request new features
• Suggest venues that should be on Clubster
