What “Push & Versand” means in Clubster

Clubster lets you send short, powerful push messages directly to users who have marked your venue as a favourite. It’s built on top of Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), so delivery is fast and reliable – and you control exactly what is sent and when.

No newsletter tools, no contact export, no Excel lists. You create a push in the Promote tab of the owner dashboard, choose a template, and reach the people who actually care about your nights.

Who receives your push?

• Guests who have favourited your venue in Clubster
• Optional: guests following a specific event (when you target a concrete event)
• Only users with at least one active device token (FCM) are counted

Clubster automatically counts how many favourites your club has and calculates the cost before you send.

Token pricing – pay only for what you send

Push campaigns in Clubster use a simple token model. The app already knows your token balance (same as in the owner dashboard).

• 2 tokens per favourite user per push
• The owner dashboard shows: favourites, total cost and your current balance
• Tokens are only charged if the push is actually sent

Example: 250 users have favourited your venue → a push costs 500 tokens. If you’re low on tokens, you can top up directly from the owner dashboard.

Cooldown & spam protection

To keep notifications valuable (and to avoid spam), Clubster uses a small cooldown:

• You can send a promo push about every 12 hours per venue
• The dashboard shows you when the next send is possible
• If a cooldown is active, the send button is disabled and shows how long is left

This keeps your pushes special – and users don’t mute your notifications after the first night.

Templates that are built for nightlife

In the Promote tab, you can choose from ready-made templates – both for general club pushes and for specific events:

• Tonight 🎉 – “Tonight at <ClubName> …”
• Happy Hour 🍹 – with a short detail like “2-for-1”
• News / Update 🆕 – quick updates with a “More in the app” feel
• Event Reminder 📅 – for events today or tomorrow
• Line-up 🎧 – highlight DJs or special guests
• Low Tickets ⏳ – “Almost sold out” pushes

You can add a short detail (up to around 20 characters), and Clubster generates a clean title and body from it.

Deep links into your club or event

Every push includes a deep link into the app:

• clubster://club/<clubId> when you target your venue in general
• clubster://event/<clubId>/<eventId> when you target a specific event

When users tap the notification, they land straight on the relevant page in the app – not on a random list.

How to send your first push

1. Open the Promote tab in the Club editor (owner dashboard).
2. Under Push & Versand, refresh your FCM status (optional) to see how many devices are registered.
3. Choose whether you want to target your club or a specific event.
4. Select a template and add a short detail if needed (e.g. “2-for-1”, “DJ Nova”, “free entry till 23:00”).
5. Check the preview and costs (tokens) and tap “Send now”.
6. Clubster delivers the push to your favourite guests – and opens the correct screen when they tap.
